Happy Birthday Tita!

October 23rd is my Moms (Skyler's Titas) birthday! The day my Mother was born is one of the most important days for me of the entire year. There are not enough characters on this keyboard to express what my Mom means to me. My Mom is my best friend and the best grandmother to my son! The weekend of my Moms birthday, Travis' Dad (Skyler's Gampy) also flew down from Indy to visit us! And thats not all. My favorite Aunt Donna surprised us and flew in from Oklahoma to meet our little man! We had a full house and it was wonderful. It reminded me of what it was like growing up in the valley surrounded by my whole family. Although its just Travis, Skyler, Tucker and I living here in Houston right now, our family does a great job of visiting often and reminding us that they are all just a short flight away. I hope my son grows up knowing how special and important family is and how no matter what, his family will always love him and support him and always be on his side. To celebrate this special weekend, we took Sky on his first trip to the Houston zoo, went out for a great dinner at Eddie V's and had a special birthday brunch on Sunday downtown at Backstreet cafe. It was a busy and wonderful weekend!
